Guinness World Record attempt to take place at Five Rivers

On Saturday 14 September starting at 8am, current member Jamie Reynolds and former member David Leighfield will be attempting an official Guinness World Record attempt for the longest game of singles in bowls. The current record stands at 30 hours held by two players from New Zealand and Jamie and David will be aiming for 36 hours (if not longer!).

They are fundraising for the Children’s Ward at Salisbury District Hospital in association with the Stars Appeal. Their Just Giving page can be found here and any donations for this great cause are welcome.

The Club will be open for spectators to come and cheer Jamie and David on during the day and with bar facilities available on site refreshments can be provided during your visit.

Club Competition Secretary, Tom Warner, is organising the administration behind the World Record attempt and so please get in touch with him at should you have any questions.

Open Days – Friday 27 and Saturday 28 September 2019

The Club’s next Open Day will be on Friday 27 September 2019 from 2-8pm and on Saturday 28 September 2-4pm.
