Continued club closure post lockdown

Following the Government’s announcement that Wiltshire will be Tier 2 when lockdown ends in the UK on 2 December, the club will continue to remain closed for the forseeable future.

Unfortunately the costs of running and operating the club will outweigh any potential income from individual or same household bookings. Therefore to ensure the continued financial prosperity of the club there is no alternative other than to remain closed at this time.

Club Closure

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Saturday, and subject to Parliamentary approval on Wednesday, the national lockdown will come into effect from Thursday 5 November. The Club will be closed throughout lockdown and we will look to reopen on Thursday 3 December, subject to government guidance and easing of lockdown restrictions.

All members will be able to visit the club until Wednesday to collect any belongings but all bowling is suspended and club facilities will be unavailable from Thursday onwards.

We urge all members to take care during this worrying time and remind everyone to follow the current guidance around stopping the spread of COVID-19.
